Corfu Airport Passenger Increase 2026

Corfu airport has seen multiple passenger increases over the past few months. According to statistical data that is provide by Fraport Greece, in the month of February this year, there has been an increase of 4.9% in passenger traffic when comparing with February of 2025.
The passenger traffic increase becomes even greater as the year progresses. April of 2026 saw an 11% increase in passengers when comparing to April of 2025. A total of 189.000 passengers passed through Corfu's International Airport just in April this year.
These sharp increases in traffic volume could be down to many factors such as Corfu's successful marketing campaigns, massive holiday deals from big tour operators or the geopolitical conflicts in the middle east as pushing travelers to choose safer destinations. Whatever the reasons may be, If this trend continues, Corfu is looking at one of its busiest summers yet.
